ok. all wedding invitations i have seen always have the bride to bes name first..why is this? does it have to be done that way? seems to be the same for personalized wedding items as well. my fiance and i ordered wedding matchbooks, and had his name first then mine. was that ok to do? i was raised.... I have read in some books that it is appropriate to invite the parents of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Have I gone too far with wedding favors.

Have I gone too far with the favors? I have bought pink heart shaped rose candles for the female guests, and plastic wine glasses for the the male guests, which will be filled with hersheys kisses.
